Annie Dookhan pleads not guilty to charges in drug lab scandal

Former state chemist Annie Dookhan pleaded not guilty in Suffolk Superior Court Thursday to 15 charges of allegedly mishandling and tainting drug evidence, including one case in which she claimed to have tested a drug sample that was not even in her laboratory at the time.

Dookhan, 35, is at the center of one of the largest law enforcement scandals in recent state history and her actions in the now-closed state drug laboratory in Jamaica Plain may affect tens of thousands of cases and cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

A curfew that was hampering her "social life"?  OMG, where do I even start?

Her curfew interfered with her social life? Seriously?!!! Her lawyer actually argued that in court?!!!! Flabbergasted.

I guess when facing jail time it is important to get as much partying in as possible?

Criminals being released from prison because of her actions. Millions of dollars in costs to taxpayers. And she's complaining that her "6pm curfew is putting a damper on her social life" And a judge granted it changed to 10pm? Are you KIDDING ME!!!!
