T boss in tune with holiday spirit

In one of her first executive decisions as the MBTA’s new boss, Beverly Scott ensured that the T’s Christmas stocking would not end up with a lump of coal.

After being kicked out of the Forest Hills T station Monday for lacking proper permits, Christmas carolers from Hope Central Church in Jamaica Plain were invited back (no permit necessary) by Scott to serenade evening commuters Wednesday.
