A small package delivered to Logan International Airport that prompted officials to evacuate the Air Canada cargo building was found to be harmless. State Police and Massachusetts Port Authority firefighters responded to the scene at about 10:40 Thursday morning, said Massport spokesman Richard Walsh. “Out of an abundance of caution, the building was evacuated,” Walsh said. A State Police bomb squad and the Massport Fire Rescue hazmat team X-rayed the package and determined that it was not a threat, Massport said in an official Tweet.
