Maine authorities said there are no new developments in the disappearance of two boat-building students whose clothing was found on an island near Kennebunkport. Police said the search for Zachery Wells, 21, of Burlington, Vt., and Prescott Wright, 23, of Barnstable, Mass., was suspended on Christmas. Searchers had found pieces of clothing early Monday morning. The Portland Press Herald reported that officials said it was possible the men had been kayaking or boating. They were last seen drinking beer with a small group of friends at Wells’s home in Kennebunkport near the Cape Porpoise pier on Wednesday night. They both are students at the Landing School, a boat building and yacht design school in Arundel.
