Region’s second storm of the week on the way

NEW YORK (AP) — A mild but widespread winter storm is developing over the Northeast and the upper Ohio River Valley, the second in less than a week for the regions.

Forecasters expect the heaviest snowfall of 4 to 8 inches in southern New England, including Boston and Providence, R.I. The snow is expected to start falling there Saturday afternoon.
