A two-alarm blaze heavily damaged a Milton home Friday, but the occupants escaped safely, fire officials said. The fire was reported at the house on Parkwood Drive at about 7:15 a.m., said Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Mahony. He said the house was rendered uninhabitable. “They won’t be staying in that house,” he said. His rough estimate of the damage was $200,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation, he said.
