A Saugus man was arrested after eight bags of marijuana were seized from his car in Concord, N.H., Sergeant William E. Graham of the New Hampshire State Police said Thursday. Phillip Perez, 43, was pulled over at about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday when he was seen speeding northbound on Route 93, police said. When Perez was unable to produce a license, they said, police ran a records check and found that Perez’s license was suspended. He is being held on $5,000 cash bail. He was charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, speeding, and driving with a suspended license. Perez is due to appear in Concord District Court Jan 14.
