Body discovered in E. Boston but foul play not suspected

A body was found today in East Boston, but police said the case was being treated as a sudden death and not as a homicide.

According to Boston police, the department’s bomb squad and hazardous material units were sent to 34 Horace St. in response to a 911 call. Shortly after police arrived, the body was discovered.

No further information was immediately available.
