Possible arson of 8 cars at West Roxbury auto repair shop investigated

Members of the arson squad are investigating after eight cars were apparently set on fire early this morning in West Roxbury, the Boston Police Department said.

Officers responded to a call of a car, or cars, on fire in the rear of Nick’s Parkway Auto Repair in West Roxbury at 12:36 a.m. today and observed eight cars damaged by the fire, according to the police department’s blog.

The cause of the fires is under investigation, police said.
