A Halifax man got lucky, even for a lottery winner, when he won the last of four $10 million Mega Cash grand prizes. Steven E. Palaschak, 44, bought the winning $20 scratch ticket at Country Convenience in East Bridgewater, a lottery official said. Palaschak presented his winning ticket to state lottery officials Friday. He chose to receive the money in annual installments of $350,000 over 20 years. The owner of Country Convenience also gets $50,000 for selling the winning ticket. A lottery official said four of the original 40 $1 million Mega Cash prizes are still to be won.
