State troopers arrested a man and woman who were allegedly driving a stolen car after a brief chase in Boston on Tuesday, State Police said. The pair are being questioned by an FBI and State Police bank robbery task force in connection with two bank robberies in Arlington and Waltham earlier Tuesday, State Police said. When located on Soldiers Field Road in Boston, the driver, Andrea Koutis, 30, of Arlington, refused to stop the vehicle, according to State Police. After a short pursuit, Koutis and her passenger, Erik Stout, 35, of Somerville, were arrested. Koutis is charged with operating a stolen motor vehicle, failure to stop, and a marked lanes violation, and Stout was charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, State Police said.
