Pac-Man was perched on top of MIT’s Great Dome for a while Friday before being removed by facilities crews, the institute’s facilities office said.
The iconic 1980s video game character was accompanied by one of his adversaries, the red ghost Blinky, and his placement was the latest in a tradition of pranks involving the top of the building.

Wow, what a shitty prank. A 2d billboard? I miss the smart, elaborate pranks of yore. It made sense, for instance, to turn the Great Dome into a giant beanie (mid-nineties); the police car prank was full of clever details. Kids today, harumph.
