Builders say a 300-foot-long span of the Memorial Bridge connecting New Hampshire and Maine will be moved into place Tuesday morning. Archer Western Contractors says the bridge’s new south span will be moved from the State Pier in Portsmouth and set on rebuilt piers in the Piscataqua River. Once the span has been set in place, workers will begin to assemble the north span. It is scheduled to be placed in March.
