A new marine hospital at the National Marine Life Center in Bourne plans to release its first animal back into the wild Sunday morning. The center has been caring for a juvenile female harbor seal that was stranded in Buzzards Bay in November with severe facial injuries and malnourishment. After months of care, the seal will be released Sunday morning at Scusset Beach in Sandwich.
