Five face drug charges after traffic stop

Five people are facing drug possession charges following a traffic stop in Allston in which methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana were discovered, authorities said.

State Police stopped a car for allegedly speeding and failing to stop at a stop sign on Rugg Road at 3:45 a.m. Saturday. The driver, Brian Poitras, 27, of Lynn said he did not have his driver’s license, State Police said. Three other people were in the car.
