Rhode Island’s Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Commission is preparing to celebrate the slain civil rights leader’s life. The commemoration will take place Monday at Ebenezer Baptist Church. It will include remarks by the commission, state and religious leaders, and musical performances. The commission was formed to commemorate the day and to promote educational efforts throughout the year. State Representative Raymond Hull, the commission chairman, will serve as master of ceremonies. Several awards, including the ‘‘Living the Dream’’ award, will be handed out.
