Several people were injured in an avalanche that was reported Thursday night at Tuckerman Ravine in North Conway, N.H., a fire official said. Between six and nine people were on the mountain at the time of the avalanche, several of whom were injured and taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital, said Jonathan Larin, of the Berlin Fire Department. “It seems like they are all off the mountain,” he said. The condition of those injured was not immediately available. The Mount Washington Avalanche Center had issued an avalanche advisory for Tuckerman Ravine on Thursday.
