Lowell man drove wrong way on I-93, police say


A Lowell man has been charged with driving the wrong way while drunk on Interstate 93 in Derry, N.H., according to New Hampshire State Police. Juan Arango of Lowell was stopped around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, after he drove south in the northbound lane, according to State Police. Police allege that Arango, 25, had a blood alcohol level of more than double the legal limit. Arango was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to police. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Derry District Court on Feb. 22.
