The presence of old bone fractures in a 1-year-old Cambridge girl who died last week, allegedly at the hands of her nanny, has raised disturbing questions about how long she may have been abused and whether she exhibited past signs of physical distress that were, in retrospect, missed cries for help.
These injuries — to her left limbs and along her back and estimated to be up to two months old — are likely to give lawyers for the nanny an opening to suggest the possibility that someone else was the child’s tormenter.

something strange here, injuries 2 weeks to 2 months old. Did her parents not see her bruises, was this poor child in constant pain. I read that the mother was texting the nanny whne the child was in the hospital, keeping her up to date on what was happening, this whole case is very odd. If your child was injured in someones care would you be texting them. I highly doubt it.
Despite the Trial & Conviction of Brady by the Media, your suggestion that her actions may not be the story entire is quite valid. Strange facts and actions by the Parents of Rehma. The Globe, ( a great newspaper), with their presentation of this case may have handed Brady's Attorneys ammunition for Change of Venue, Mistrial, and other maneovers. Let Law Enforcement do their jobs! I personally believe the causes of this horrid event are more complex than one Nanny losing her temper. Much more complex. I must say, though, that whomever is found responsible for this most heinous of crimes is punished to the very fullest extent the Law provides!
Wow, why not question the parents about neglect? Imagine this child's life? Try to, anyway. Very sad.
Indeed!!
What I cannot get over is the neighbor who did not call 911 - after 15 minutes of an infant screaming, I would have been hysterical myself and calling the authorities.
