Connecticut fugitive held in slaying

A Connecticut man wanted on murder charges was tracked down and arrested in Lawrence Thursday by the Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force of the US Marshals Service, officials said. Doel F. Candelario, 26, whose last known address was Hartford, had been wanted since Oct. 11, 2012, in the fatal shooting of Jimmy Narvaez-Gonzalez, said US Marshal Don Freeman. Marshals tracked Candelario to 22 Morton St. in Lawrence, where he was arrested with the help of Lawrence police, Freeman said. Candelario was held by Lawrence police before being taken into custody by the task force, a police spokesman said.
