A nightclub at the Holiday Inn in Somerville where a brawl occurred in December has closed permanently, the hotel’s general manager said Friday.
“The room formally used as a nightclub has been renovated into a private function room for meetings and special occasions,” Terri Almond, the hotel’s general manager, said in a prepared statement. “That chapter of the hotel is gone for good.”

The mayor doesn't really like business that keep the Slumerville name alive...remember Good Times? He kicked them out for the new Ikea...I mean big empty space in the neighborhood of the VERY distant future...
