Boston University students were alerted Tuesday night about a stabbing near campus in Brookline. Two male suspects, described as 6 feet tall and wearing knit caps over their faces, fleece pullovers, and jeans, stabbed and punched the victim at Browne and Pleasant streets before taking an iPad, according to a BU emergency alert e-mailed and texted to students. Brookline police tweeted that the stabbing took place at 8:30 p.m. and that the victim was taken to a hospital.
