Catherine Greig appeal to be heard in March

A federal appeals court in Boston will hear arguments in March on Catherine Greig’s request for a new sentencing hearing for harboring James “Whitey” Bulger during his 16 years on the run. A hearing on the matter is scheduled March 5 before the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, according to a docket entry in her case made Wednesday. Greig, 61, is seeking to have her eight-year sentence reduced to a maximum term of two years and nine months.
