The Republican State Committee expects a bruising fight over its leadership Thursday night, with the vote for chairman still too close to call between the handpicked candidate of former senator Scott Brown and a conservative challenger.
Massachusetts Republicans, chastened by their losses in November, remain bitterly divided over the direction of their party, even as they face another special election to US Senate, following John F. Kerry’s exit to become secretary of state.

I am amazed that anyone would look to Centerfold Scott for anything at all at this point. He cannot lead, he cannot express himself, and he cannot win a fair election. #Bqhatevwr. "your brilliant". Let him fade into obscurity and write his memoirs before he brings the Mass GOP to zero representation.
Scott Brown a figment of his imagination--and white males. As for our GOP party in Mass. I suggest we bring back the Treeasurer who went to jail recently. Talk about a party in flux--they couldn't even beat the crook Tierney!!
Scott Brown should be careful with his Twitter account. I think he has his future mapped out in the defense department, whether or not he continues to be a politician.
"the centrist course chartered by brown".....alluding to republicans of years past...? Puleeeeze! Does that comment refer to the former boy senator....upon entering the Senate...ran...no sprinted to the protective cover of mitch mcconnel and his ilk whose mantra was to make President Obama a one term president. Centrist path my a*#!!
However, as for the current Mass repub party....you are not even close to republicans like Silvio Conte who could/would work with the other side. He was one of the last of the Massachusetts legislators who put country before party. I would like to think that as a Massachusetts citizen, veteran....I support mostly our past great legislators who represented our state well but understood that we as a country are what counts.
Centrist scotty....would be interesting to see the boy run again to see how he defines the "center"....
AMEN.
On the other hand, if he is too stupid to realize that the public can never forgive a loser, he should start to comprehend after two losses.
