Police seeking man on several warrants

Police are looking for a Maine man who is wanted on several charges and is considered dangerous after he fled on foot following a traffic stop Friday. Police said Michael Gatcomb, 29, of Jay ran across a field into some woods in Jay when officers stopped a pickup truck he was a passenger in Friday afternoon. Officials say he may be armed. Police said Gatcomb is wanted on charges in two counties, including domestic assault, failure to stop for an officer, criminal speed, and violation of conditions of release. He is currently out of jail on bail on felony theft charges.
