UVM fifth on Peace Corps volunteer list

The University of Vermont is one of the top-ranking schools in the country in the production of Peace Corps volunteers. On Tuesday, the Peace Corps released the latest rankings in the large, medium, and small schools categories. Currently there are 37 former UVM students serving in 28 countries, from Azerbaijan to Zambia. Those numbers rank UVM fifth in the medium-sized school category. The state of Vermont consistently ranks at or near the top of the per-capita lists of the production of Peace Corps volunteers.
