Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey is coming to Mitt Romney’s old turf in Boston next month for an exclusive high-dollar fundraiser.

Christie will attend a private dinner on March 1 for 25 to 30 people, who are being asked to donate $3,800 each to the governor’s reelection campaign, according to a copy of an invitation to the event obtained by the Globe. The location has yet to be announced.
