A 32-year-old Arizona man is facing three felony drug-trafficking charges in Maine after being arrested by Scarborough police. Authorities said Bobby Maurice Collins of Peoria, Ariz., was arrested Thursday as he was leaving a Scarborough hotel in a car with two other people, who were later released. Police allege Collins was in possession of 167 bags of heroin, 5 grams of unpackaged heroin, and 3.5 grams of crack cocaine. Police said the street value of drugs seized is roughly $2,500. Collins was also charged with trafficking in prison contraband when Cumberland County Jail deputies located heroin and crack cocaine hidden on him during the booking process.
