‘Whitey’ Bulger’s lawyer says mobster was never informant

James “Whitey” Bulger’s lawyer insisted Wednesday that the gangster was never an FBI informant, yet remains determined to prove his assertion that a former federal prosecutor promised him immunity for all of his crimes, including murder.

“James Bulger was never an informant for the FBI or anyone else at any time, and it was not the reason why he received immunity,” Boston lawyer J. W. Carney Jr. told reporters following a hearing on Bulger’s immunity claim.

Wow, immunity from prosecution for MURDER.  Has there ever been such an immunity?

What was the FBI getting in return for these 19 murders committed by Whitey Bulger?

In other words, I kind of want to hear the answer to that last question from Whitey himself!  Let him have a trial on the issue!

Right on. How can you get immunity for muder? If this insane possibility exiists, then the government becomes

an accessory after the fact.

Santa Claus still loves in an igloo at the North pole

or better, before, during as well after the fact.

And if he was not an informant, then how could he have deserved immunity? Confusing but not amusing.

Can't this piece of human refuse, this butcher, this RAT, please just go away? If they can't fry him as he so deserves, can he just die ignominiously in a cell somewhere? Will he be a page one story forever?

So Whitey admits he needed immunity. Even if such a preposterous and absurd notion as immunity for murdering citizens by other citizens was not ridiculous, why would anyone give it to this creep?? And why then can't we just provide the same immunity to the families of his victims so they can murder Whitey?

Whitey was 007.

Who is paying Bulger's legal fees? There is not one red penny of tax payer money that should go to Boston lawyer J. W. Carney Jr.

This trial will be a circus, which means tickets to see Bulger and his attorney, could raise money for his defense.
