Bulger checked for heart issue again

At 83, ‘exercise is over for me,’ he writes

James “Whitey” Bulger was quietly examined at a Plymouth hospital last week for an irregular heartbeat, raising questions about whether his recurring health problems will keep him from his long-anticipated trial in June.

Bulger, 83, wrote to a longtime friend last week that after being taken from the Plymouth County Correctional Facility by ambulance to a local hospital on Feb. 12, “Exercise is over for me.”

What, I'm supposed to feel sorry for this animalistic murderer?  I'm glad he's suffering & it won't be even an iota of the pain he's caused.

1) I'm not surprised at the "health" problems and I am sure they will cause delays in the trials, happened all the time in the Mafia trials in New York.

2) Sorry but I am not buying the act of contrition or the sob story Whitey, you were a murderer and a thug, what goes around, comes around.

The only people that would like him dead right now are the Feds. Everyone I know and I myself want to hear how far up the ladder this cancer went. There was no way, only one agent new what went on, and Howver new everything; where are the rest of the men that stood by and gave this guy's a lic to kill? Jimmy is going down in history with the worst label of all on him... He will ever be called "Jimmy the great Irish Rat" no Al Capone for him, just Jimmy the Rat Bulger... Killer and corrupter of the FBI in thier war against Italians... Drug pusher, and killer of women, no ganster just a run away sereal killer let on the lose by the major community law enforment agency... Feds do not want him on the stand...

All he needs is a pacemaker. Millions have one for similar complaints and live completely normal lives. He should not be allowed to play the martyr.

He has a heart?

Of course Carney says he'll go to trial in June.  As long as Whitey's alive Carney's getting paid.

The FBI at the time were following attorney general  Robert Kennedy's directive to eradicate organized crime. Unfortunately, for RFK this only meant Italian organized crime. NO non Italian name were on his list even though crimes of equal or greater impact were occuring out of the Winter Hill and McLaughlin Charletown gangs.  This gave Whitey and his Southie homeboy Zip Connolly free reign. The same way it allowed Paul Rico to railroad Louie Greco to protect another useful rat, (Joe Barboza).

Whitey's lawyer will do everything in his power to delay the trial. More public defender money and publicity for him and greater chances Whitey will die before he has to testify and die as a convicted murderer.
