Former Braintree chief denied releasing Amy Bishop

A Quincy District Court judge overseeing a 2010 inquest was skeptical of the assertions of a former Braintree police chief that he did not meet with the mother of Amy Bishop in the hours after she shot her brother in 1986 and had not ordered the younger woman’s release.

In newly released testimony from the inquiry into Seth Bishop’s death, John Polio, who was chief at the time, said he did not speak with Judy Bishop, Amy’s mother, after the shooting, although other law enforcement officials said the two spoke privately at the police station just before Amy Bishop was released.

Just another incompetent buffoon maquerading as a professional.

As I noted in the fine article about Micheal Mc Laughlin's "Career". Massachusits invented "Felonious quid pro quo". Men of his ilk, (dishonorable Police), will always be with us. I never have had many expectations of human nature. Especially in Politics.

Someone better start telling these people that you are accountable either way- you're either guilty of hiding the truth or facts or you are incompetent.  This s not the 20's where people accepted ( for the most part) everything a public official states as truth with no way to contradict it....

Did they testify under oath?  Isn't perjury a crime in Massachusetts?

Replies

It depends on who's committing the perjury.  If federal prosecutors are doing it, it's okay and it's legal and I can provide you with evidence to prove it.

If a few Boston FBI office agents are obstructing justice, committing perjury and engaging in verified corruption and high government crime, which taints all of the decent FBI agents, it's okay so long as the federal prosecutors agree with the crime and the cover up.

Potlemac - yes, perjury is a crime, but the former chief is now deceased - leaving no one to prosecute.
