A man shot on Blossom Street in Chelsea Tuesday night suffered life-threatening injuries, said Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney’s office. The victim was shot at 9 p.m. and was taken to Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett, Wark said. Officials were searching Tuesday night for several possible suspects, said State Police spokesman David Procopio. State and Chelsea police responded to the scene, Procopio said. No further details were immediately available.
