FRAMINGHAM — In an attempt to make the town’s School Committee “feel the same stresses that we have,” the union representing Framingham teachers has urged its members to volunteer personal information they know about committee members, including what health clubs they belong to, and where their spouses work.
The move, perceived by school administrators as an escalation tactic in ongoing contract negotiations, initially unnerved some School Committee members and their families, including the wife of chairman David Miles.

The teachers union members are likely paid well and have good benefits (and are working). And they are allowed to retire way too early with full benefits so they should shut the h-ll up.
This is an unfair labor practice if I've ever seen one. Who is the genius who thought up this tactic. The Labor Relations Board should be notified, so they can haul Mr. Miskin in for a little chat. And if I were a teacher at FHS, I'd be apologizing to the Miles family.
I am a proud union member and and disgusted by the actions of the Framingham Teachers Union. Thanks so much for confirming what so many people think about unions. Grow up and get back to the table.

Bullying...maybe someone should start following Miskins wife around and see if he thinks it is fair...frankly he should be fired or at least removed from a position of authority in the union. A psych eval would not be out of the question.

So, FTA, if I find online the home address and phone number of a certain FTA officer, shall I post it all over the WWW? Maybe start a website or blog IDing names, home addresses, etc. etc. of thugs of all stripes, union or otherwise? Is this the kind of escalation tactics you want, FTA?
Miskin is the most disingenuous person on the plant. Not meant to be threatening? Then why would it create pressure? And, naturally, hiding behing "it's all about the kids". A union thug who teachers should disavow.
