Milton selectmen Thursday unanimously chose the interim town administrator, Annemarie Fagan, over three other candidates to be permanent town administrator. Fagan has worked for Milton for 18 years, most of that time as the assistant town administrator. She had been filling in as town administrator since selectmen elected last summer not to renew the contract of Kevin Mearn. Selectmen also voted for police Lieutenant John E. King to become deputy police chief, succeeding Charles Paris, whose retirement takes effect July 1.
