Four stabbed in three attacks in Dorchester

A 19-year-old, who told police he was a former serviceman, was robbed and stabbed on a violent Saturday evening in Dorchester during which four people were stabbed within 90 minutes, authorities said.

There does not appear to be a connection between the attacks, said Boston police spokesman Officer James Kenneally.

We better start banning knives!

Where is the outrage?  Were these "assault knives"?  Of course they were, they assaulted the victims.

Not so funny.  Some people in the UK (mainly doctors) are now pushing to ban large kitchen knives because of attacks like this.

A knife is a very dangerous weapon, it makes no noise, it is very concealable.

It can be carried in such a manner that the victim does not realize the attacker has drawn the knife.

Ah, but I hear the anti gun folk now "Oh, but a person cannot kill so many people so quickly"  Uh huh, when YOU are the victim, it does not really matter how many other people got killed before or after YOU.  Does it?

I call that concept the "schooling fish" idea.  Like you see on NatGeo.  The fish all school, the idea being only a few get picked off.  Hopefully, you aren't one of them.  If I were a fish, I would want a spear gun.

Four people stabbed in 90 minutes, all in Dorchester, and there is no connection? Please, a statistician, what are the odds?
