Maine boy, 6, killed by plow truck driven by father

Maine State Police said a young boy has died after being struck by a snow plow truck driven by his father. State Police said Nathan Capponi, 6, was pronounced dead Wednesday morning after being taken to Central Maine Medical Center by ambulance. State Police said the accident happened shortly before 7 a.m. when the boy’s father, Kevin Capponi, 36, was finishing up plowing the driveway to his home in Greene. Officials said Capponi did not see his son playing on a scooter in the driveway while backing up his truck.
