A 22-year-old woman died Friday morning after the Dodge Stratus she was driving collided with a diesel fuel truck in Easton, police said. Alexandra Hamilton, the daughter of Easton police Officer Steven Hamilton, was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton and later to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she died, Easton police said. The department said the crash occurred on Turnpike Street about 1 a.m. Friday. The cause of the accident is under investigation, but Hamilton’s car and the fuel truck had been heading in opposite directions, police said.
