A homicide victim whose burning body was found in a Cranston cemetery last week was an aspiring rapper followed by thousands of people on Twitter and YouTube. Gandy Kaydea, 22, of Providence was known as Young Shad. His burning body was found Wednesday night in the Pocasset Cemetery. Cranston police are still investigating his death and have not made any arrests. They say the killing was possibly gang-related. Teny Gross helped teach Kaydea at the Institute for the Study and Practice of Non Violence in Providence. Gross told WLNE-TV that Kaydea was turning his life around and had one more test to take to get his GED.
