Immigrants, supporters rally in Boston

BOSTON (AP) — Hundreds of immigrants and their supporters have rallied in Boston to pile up pressure on the U.S. Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reforms that include a path to citizenship for the 11 million foreign-born citizens living illegally in the country.

Organizers say about 800 immigrants, community activists, representative of workers’ groups and political leaders rallied at Faneuil Hall on Saturday morning. They then marched to the nearby federal building that houses the U.S. Immigration and Citizenship Services and the local immigration court.
