Recent sightings as reported to the Massachusetts Audubon ­Society:

Among the recent spring migrants reported this week were Virginia rail; piping plover; American oystercatcher; greater yellowlegs; willet, lesser yellowlegs; pectoral sandpiper; yellow-bellied sapsucker; American kestrel; blue-headed vireo; purple martin; barn swallow; ruby-crowned kinglet; palm, pine, and yellow-rumped warblers; and chipping sparrow.
