Dedham elects two new members to library board

Monika Wilkinson and Cecilia T. Emery-Butler were elected to Dedham’s Board of Library Trustees, ousting incumbent Michael Chailfoux in a four-way race for two seats in Saturday’s annual town election. Wikinson and Emery-Butler recieved 1,180 and 1,025 votes, respectively, according to the town of Dedham’s website. Daniel T. Barkowitz finished a close third with 1,016 votes, and Chalifoux received 545. In the election’s other contested race, Salvatore P. Ledda was reelected to a seat on the Parks and Recreation Commission, defeating Danielle Vlahos 1,686 to 619.
