Vigils in Boston area for Marathon attacks

Here is a list of area reflections and services, listed by city and day, to honor the victims impacted by the bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line:



At The Villa Victoria, 85 W. Newton St.

When: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday


What: The “Citywide Night of Prayer” will bring together a number of congregations, including Citylife Church, Mosaic Church, Reality Boston, and Redemption Hill.


At Cambridge City Hall, 795 Massachusetts Avenue (near Central MBTA stop)

What: “Time of sharing and reflection.’’



At the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, 1400 Washington St., South End

When: 11 a.m. Thursday

What: Interfaith service to be attended by President Obama
