‘Wire problem’ stops service along Green Line’s D branch

A “wire problem” prompted the MBTA to stop running trolleys along the entire D branch of the Green Line Sunday evening.

The T instead ran shuttle bus service between Riverside and Kenmore stations, according to an alert posted at about 6:45 p.m. on the public transit agency’s website.

The alert “encouraged” riders to use alternate transportation options, including taking the C branch of the Green Line for service between Reservoir and Kenmore stations, to avoid delays.
