Approximately 4,400 homes lost power in the Houghs Neck and Germantown neighborhoods of Quincy on Thursday night when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Sea Street, said National Grid spokeswoman Jackie Barry. National Grid was working to restore power to 800 homes during the night, but the remainder would remain without electricity until repairs could be made, she said. Quincy police did not know the condition of the driver and had no other details late Thursday night.
