Harold Roy, a security officer at Massachusetts General Hospital, is working to rebuild his family's homeland of Haiti.
Roy (left) was at the airport preparing to board a plane for Miami when the earthquake struck in 2010.
Roy (center) became certified to teach CPR to security workers in Haiti as part of his work through the Thomas S. Durant Fellowship for Refugee Medicine.
The Boston resident (not pictured) also taught security techniques and courses on how to manage aggressive behavior.
