Crash victim identified as Roslindale woman

A woman who was killed in a three-car crash in Weston Saturday afternoon has been identified as a Roslindale resident, Massachusetts State Police said. In the crash on the ramp connecting Interstate-90 east to Interstate-95 north, a vehicle driven by Ana M. Espinal, 43, was seriously damaged, trapping Espinal and her two children inside. Espinal was extricated from the vehicle by the Newton Fire Department but was declared dead at the scene, State Police said in a report. Espinal’s two children, aged 15 and 17, were also trapped; they were rescued and taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but authorities have ruled out alcohol as a factor.
