State and Chelsea police detectives arrested Maurice Morrison, 28, of Chelsea Wednesday night on charges of shooting and killing two people in the city May 13, the Suffolk district attorney’s office said. Police, who arrested Morrison at 8 p.m. in Boston, found evidence that Morrison had a prior conflict with the female victim, Karima El-Hakim, the statement said. The other victim gunned down on Crescent Avenue was Zouaoui Dani-Elkebir. Jake Wark, a spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney, said that the investigation remains “very active” and that additional details are expected at Morrison’s arraignment Thursday in Chelsea District Court.
