GOP seeks records on Timothy Murray

The state Republican Party has filed a public records request for documents that might show whether public resources were used in landing Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray the private sector position Murray will assume next week.

Murray and aides to Governor Deval Patrick have denied that the administration undertook any such efforts, saying that the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce approached Murray about taking over as its president and CEO.
