David Wyatt joins crowded Boston mayoral field

David James Wyatt became the tenth Boston mayoral candidate to qualify for the ballot Wednesday when election officials verified that he had submitted signatures from at least 3,000 registered voters. Other candidates with enough signatures for the Sept. 24 preliminary election include state Representative Martin J. Walsh; Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley; Councilors John R. Connolly, Felix G. Arroyo, Rob Consalvo, and Charles C. Yancey; John F. Barros; Bill Walczak; and Charlotte Golar Richie. Election officials continue to count signatures on nomination papers for five other potential candidates.
