A Chelsea man found guilty of attacking and sexually assaulting four women who were working as prostitutes in 2010 is facing at least 17 years in prison, the Suffolk district attorney’s office said Thursday. A Suffolk Superior Court jury June 7 found Jose S. Castillo, 37, guilty of raping two women and attempting to rape two others in Chelsea in September and October 2010, the office said. Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley praised the victims who testified against Castillo and said, “These women and their courage are the reason Chelsea’s streets are safer for everyone tonight.”
